Responsibilities
- Prepare wooden surfaces by sanding, filling, and cleaning before painting
- Mix and apply PU, NC, melamine, lacquer, stain, and other finishing materials
- Operate spray guns and painting equipment efficiently and safely
- Apply paint, stain, and clear coats to joinery products according to specifications
- Ensure smooth, high quality finishes free from defects and inconsistencies
- Perform touch ups, repairs, and color matching when required
- Maintain spray booths, tools, and equipment in good working condition
- Follow safety procedures when handling paints, thinners, and other chemicals
- Inspect finished products and maintain quality standards throughout the finishing process
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Spray Painter in a joinery, furniture manufacturing, or woodworking company
- Strong knowledge of PU, NC, melamine, polyester, and lacquer finishing systems
- Experience in spray painting wooden furniture, cabinets, doors, wardrobes, and interior fit out items
- Ability to prepare surfaces and achieve high quality finishes
- Knowledge of color mixing and matching techniques
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
