About The Role

  • We are looking for a technically strong and commercially minded Specification Manager / Engineering Designer to join our team in the UAE.
  • This is a technical sales-oriented role with a strong focus on specification selling and solution presentation. You will act as the technical bridge between our products and key stakeholders (architects, consultants, developers, MEP engineers, contractors), using your engineering & CAD skills to convert technical requirements into winning specifications and project wins.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and present customized technical solutions using CAD (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) to clearly demonstrate product integration, layout, and value to architects, consultants, and end-clients.
  • Act as “Specification Manager”: drive product specification into projects by influencing design consultants, MEP teams, and developers during the early design and tender stages.
  • Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and workshops for design & engineering teams.
  • Translate client/project needs into feasible solutions, prepare technical submittals, BOQs, shop drawings, and specification clauses.
  • Support the sales team in large public/commercial building projects (hotels, malls, hospitals, residential towers, etc.) by providing technical backup and winning specifications.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key specifiers, consultants, and developers in the UAE market.
  • Monitor project progress, coordinate with internal teams (engineering, production, logistics), and ensure smooth handover from specification to order to delivery.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and new project opportunities in the sanitary ware / bathroom / public construction sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in technical sales, specification selling, or engineering design support in the sanitary ware, bathroom fittings, plumbing, or construction materials industry (priority) or public/commercial building sector.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D), Revit (preferred), or similar CAD/BIM tools for creating clear technical drawings, layouts, and presentations.
  • Proven track record of successfully getting products specified into projects (especially with consultants, architects, and developers).
  • Good understanding of UAE construction standards, codes (DM, Abu Dhabi Municipality, Dubai Civil Defence, etc.), and tender processes.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills (English fluent; Arabic is a strong plus).
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, able to work independently and travel within UAE when needed.
