- The Specialist Pulmonologist will be responsible for providing expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of respiratory diseases.
- You will engage with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care, employing advanced diagnostic techniques and up-to-date treatment protocols.
- Your role is vital to ensuring optimal patient outcomes and advancing pulmonary healthcare delivery within the facility.
- Key Responsibilities* Perform detailed assessments and evaluations of patients with respiratory conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as spirometry, bronchoscopy, and imaging studies.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pulmonary disorders including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and interstitial lung diseases.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based medical practices.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management and prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and multidisciplinary patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in pulmonology and participate in continuous medical education and research activities.
Requirements
- Medical degree with a specialization in pulmonology and a valid license to practice medicine.
- Proven experience diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of respiratory diseases.
- Expertise in performing and interpreting pulmonology diagnostic procedures.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current pulmonology treatment guidelines and clinical practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and team interactions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of advances in pulmonary medicine.
