Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental care for infants, children, and adolescents.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric dental conditions, including dental caries, oral infections, and developmental abnormalities.
- Perform preventive dental procedures such as fluoride treatments, sealants, and oral health assessments.
- Conduct comprehensive oral examinations and develop individualized treatment plans for young patients.
- Manage children’s dental anxiety and provide a comfortable, child friendly dental experience.
- Perform restorative procedures, including fillings, pulp therapy, crowns, and other pediatric dental treatments.
- Monitor dental growth and development, including early identification of orthodontic concerns.
- Provide guidance to parents and caregivers regarding oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive dental care.
- Manage dental emergencies and provide appropriate treatment for pediatric patients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery (BDS/DDS or equivalent)
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatric Dentistry (MDS/Board Certification or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Pediatric Dentist in a dental clinic or hospital setting
- Strong knowledge of pediatric dental procedures and child focused treatment approaches
- Excellent communication skills with children, parents, and healthcare teams
- Ability to create a positive and reassuring dental environment for young patients
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
