We are currently seeking a skilled Specialist Oral and Dental Surgeon for an esteemed private sector healthcare provider, dedicated to offering exceptional oral health services.
Position Overview
- The Specialist Oral and Dental Surgeon will provide expert surgical care in diagnosing and treating complex oral and maxillofacial conditions within a private healthcare setting.
- You will play an essential role in delivering patient-focused, high-quality care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
- Key Responsibilities* Perform comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Carry out advanced surgical procedures such as dental implant placement, wisdom tooth extraction, and corrective jaw surgeries.
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care to ensure effective patient recovery.
- Work closely with dental professionals, specialists, and support staff to coordinate patient treatment.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in a private healthcare environment.
- Stay current with emerging trends and innovations in oral and dental surgery.
Requirements
- Qualified Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) with a specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
- Board-certified and licensed to practice within the private healthcare sector.
- Proven experience performing complex oral surgical procedures in a private healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to manage multiple surgical cases efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to quality and safety standards.
