Specialist - Operational Technology

Energy Transfer is looking for an experienced server support professional with an eye towards the future with automation technologies.

The position is a hands-on technical role within the Operational Technology team.

Qualified candidates will have an immediate impact utilizing experience, current solution sets and tools to continue support of the current environment.

Also, the qualified candidate should be able to closely collaborate with team members, other OT teams and customers to help develop robust, well-organized plans to implement solutions within short time-frames with minimal risk and interruption of service Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Help maintain and monitor Veeam Backup and Recovery servers and jobs

• Supporting other team members with all Veeam administrative functions to ensure all backups are successful

• Monitoring and maintaining all servers in plant domains

• Support all file services, backups and server patching efforts

• Architecting solutions for process improvement

• Automating and/or writing/editing scripts to automate job functions

• Cross-training other team members, sharing information with others, documenting all processes

• Supporting other team members with various administrative functions and troubleshooting efforts

• Participate in the on-call rotation

• Part of the team responsible for disaster recovery

• Working incidents, tasks, change requests and server new builds assigned to team

• Troubleshooting issues to resolution

• Participation in project delivery work, including device configuration, planning, and vendor coordination.

• Work with users to understand their needs and with OT personnel to develop effective system solutions for assigned applications.

• Provide succinct and timely, up-to-date project / system documentation; including drawings

• Perform hardware and software upgrades for new and existing equipment as needed.
