Requirements

- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and Microsoft security tools
- Professional certifications in Microsoft 365, Azure, Cybersecurity, or Power Platform are an asset

About the Role
- Applicants are invited for the position of Specialist, IT, at Niagara College KSA Corporate Office in Riyadh.
- Reporting to the Senior Manager, Quality and Systems, the Specialist, IT is responsible for supporting IT operations, infrastructure, Microsoft 365 services, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and business systems across NC KSA Corporate Office and associated campuses/projects.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, user accounts, licenses, permissions, and security configurations.
- Support cybersecurity initiatives by implementing security controls, monitoring alerts, investigating incidents, improving system configurations, and promoting information security best practices.
- Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness programs, phishing awareness campaigns, onboarding security training, and related awareness materials.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance SharePoint sites, Microsoft Forms, Power Automate workflows, and Power Apps solutions to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, SharePoint, hardware, software, and network related issues while providing effective technical support to employees and campuses.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and digital transformation using Microsoft cloud technologies.
- Support IT risk assessments, cybersecurity compliance activities, software licensing, data protection requirements, and disaster recovery planning.
- Maintain IT procedures, technical documentation, knowledge articles, and system records.
- Coordinate with vendors, evaluate quotations, monitor service delivery, and ensure compliance with agreed service levels.
- Prepare reports on IT operations, cybersecurity activities, projects, and system improvements.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and support for IT equipment deployment and maintenance across NC KSA campuses and projects.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and travel to NC KSA campuses/projects as required to ensure service standards and compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in IT support, systems administration, Microsoft 365 administration, or a related role, preferably within a post secondary institution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, and enterprise IT environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, problem solving, and customer service skills.
- Hands on experience supporting Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Forms, and related cloud technologies.
- Experience developing and maintaining SharePoint solutions, workflows, forms, and business process automation solutions.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, identity and access management, Microsoft security tools, endpoint protection, phishing prevention, and information security best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, support projects, coordinate with vendors, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of IT governance, compliance, documentation, licensing, and project management practices is an asset.
- Professional training or certifications in Microsoft 365, Azure, Cybersecurity, Information Security, SharePoint, or Power Platform are considered an asset.
- Preference will be given to candidates with GCC/MENA experience and demonstrated experience supporting Microsoft cloud technologies, enterprise systems, and cybersecurity initiatives.
