Overview
- We are recruiting a strong>Specialist Interventional Radiologist/strong> to join a hospital-based radiology service, delivering strong>minimally invasive, image-guided procedures/strong> across multiple specialties.
- strong>Clinical Scope/strong>
- Perform procedures such as:
- Angiography and angioplasty
- Embolization procedures (including oncology and trauma cases)
- Image-guided biopsies and drainages
- Vascular access procedures
- Manage pre- and post-procedure patient care
- Provide diagnostic input alongside procedural services
- strong>Service Structure/strong>
- Work within an strong>advanced radiology department/strong>
- Collaboration with:
- Oncology
- Vascular surgery
- Internal medicine
- Access to modern imaging and interventional suites
- strong>Additional Responsibilities/strong>
- Participation in on-call rota
- Contribution to MDT discussions (especially oncology cases)
- Support development of interventional radiology services
