Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform:
- Coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
- Stent placement and emergency cardiac catheterization
- Manage:
- Acute coronary syndromes (STEMI/NSTEMI)
- Chronic ischemic heart disease
- Cardiovascular emergencies
- Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedural patient care
Service Structure
- Fully equipped catheterization laboratory
- Collaboration with:
- Emergency Medicine
- ICU and Internal Medicine teams
- Participation in 24/7 cardiac coverage
Additional Responsibilities
- On-call coverage for emergency interventions
- Participation in clinical audits and service development
- Patient education and secondary prevention
