Position Overview
- We are recruiting an additional Interventional Cardiologist to support the expansion of cardiac services, indicating high patient demand and growing cath lab activity.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform: Coronary angiography and angioplasty (PCI)
- Emergency cardiac catheterization procedures
- Stent placement and interventional treatments
- Manage: Acute coronary syndromes
- Complex cardiovascular cases
- Deliver pre and post intervention care
Service Structure
- Dedicated catheterization lab
- Collaboration with: Emergency Medicine ICU and cardiology teams
- 24/7 cardiac service coverage
Additional Responsibilities
- Participation in on call rota
- Contribution to cardiology service development
- Clinical audits and performance monitoring
