Qualifications and Experience
- DM in Cardiology with an Interventional Cardiology specialization is listed as an accepted qualification.
- DNB or DrNB in Cardiology with an Interventional Cardiology specialization is listed as an accepted qualification.
- A valid medical license is required if available.
- At least 3 years of post-specialization experience in Interventional Cardiology is required.
- Mid-level specialists with 4 to 6 years of post-specialization experience are preferred.
- Candidates up to age 48 are preferred.
Key Skills and Expertise
- Comprehensive interventional cardiology practice.
- Diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases.
- Coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention or coronary angioplasty.
- Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization.
- Pacemaker implantation and device management.
- Cath lab procedures, balloon mitral valvotomy, and aortoplasty.
- Pericardiocentesis, also described as pericardial effusion tapping.
- Primary and emergency PCI.
- Management of acute coronary syndromes.
- Interpretation of ECG, echocardiography, and other non-invasive cardiac investigations.
- Independent management of outpatient, inpatient, and emergency cardiac cases.
- Excellent clinical decision-making and patient management skills.
Compensation
- Pay is up to AED 33,000 per month.

- Work location is in person.
Responsibilities
- Practice comprehensive interventional cardiology.
- Diagnose and manage cardiovascular diseases.
- Perform coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention or coronary angioplasty.
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization.
- Perform pacemaker implantation and manage cardiac devices.
- Perform cath lab procedures, balloon mitral valvotomy, aortoplasty, and pericardiocentesis.
- Perform primary and emergency PCI.
- Manage acute coronary syndromes.
- Interpret ECG, echocardiography, and other non-invasive cardiac investigations.
- Independently manage outpatient, inpatient, and emergency cardiac cases.
- Apply clinical decision-making and patient management skills.
