Specialist HVAC Engineer

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering certification or Chartered Engineer status is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent, from an accredited university; or a minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
• Must have at least five (5) years of experience in a similar position on mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in the GCC region is required.
• Proven experience in both FEED and EPC project execution.
• Offshore project experience is required.
• ADNOC offshore experience is required.
• Previous experience in a PMC environment is preferred.

• Offshore HVAC design and engineering.
• HVAC load calculations and equipment sizing.
• Hazardous area ventilation design.
• Pressurized HVAC systems.
• Smoke management and life safety systems.
• HVAC equipment specification and vendor document review.
• Technical bid evaluation.
• Engineering calculations and design verification.
• Multidisciplinary engineering coordination.
• Commissioning and start-up support.
• Knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, API, ISO, and ADNOC Engineering Standards.

• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making capability.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
