Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Define and own the inference or rules engine, integrations, user interface, data model, solution specifications, configuration, code, and associated IT infrastructure.
• Understand Inquiry-to-Order and Order-to-Requisition processes to design robust solution frameworks.
• Design, architect, develop, and maintain Rulestream applications integrated with Teamcenter, CAD, ERP, and other enterprise applications.
• Lead junior Rulestream or Teamcenter Product Configurator resources when required.
• Create and maintain SQL Server databases.
• Support system migration, technical documentation, implementation planning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

Background and Technical Requirements

• A Mechanical Engineering background is considered, and relevant engineering backgrounds may also be accepted.
• Knowledge of CAD applications such as NX and Inventor is required.
• Knowledge of NX-Open programming, SQL Server, and TFS is required.
• A strong understanding of object-oriented programming is required.
• A strong understanding of the Sales and Engineering interface and Engineer-to-Order decision parameters is required.
• Experience with Java, VB, ITK, PLMXML, XML, or C# is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Teamcenter BMIDE is optional.
• Project management knowledge is advantageous.
