Role Overview
Carrier is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our Carrier Commercial Services (CCS) division of Carrier Corporation.
As a subsidiary of Carrier, we provide comprehensive HVAC maintenance and repairs for commercial buildings, schools and retail spaces with a focus on optimizing performance, energy efficiency and sustainability.
In this role you will work within the CCS Accounting team and with other cross-functional teams to ensure business operations are smooth and that accounting & reporting are timely and accurate.
This position follows a hybrid schedule, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week.

Role Purpose
Carrier is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our Carrier Commercial Services (CCS) division of Carrier Corporation. As a subsidiary of Carrier, we provide comprehensive HVAC maintenance and repairs for commercial buildings, schools and retail spaces with a focus on optimizing performance, energy efficiency and sustainability.
In this role you will work within the CCS Accounting team and with other cross-functional teams to ensure business operations are smooth and that accounting & reporting are timely and accurate.
This position follows a hybrid schedule, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week.
Role Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the month end closing & reporting processes to ensure accuracy of financial reporting
- Complete timely account reconciliations and ensure their quality complies with Carrier standards
- Quarterly review of open AR and recording allowance for bad debt and dispute reserve per policy, preparation of the supplemental and account reconciliations.
- Sales Incentive Accounting including monthly accruals for all programs, reconciliation of accruals, payouts and recording any necessary true ups
