Key skills for this role
Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in defining, planning, developing, and validating special tools and test bench equipment required for rolling stock and service activities. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, sourcing, quality, and service teams), ensuring alignment with internal standards, catalogues, and customer expectations, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of designing and validating special tools and test benches but also managing their lifecycle and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
We’ll look to you for:
Defining and preparing the Special Tools List based on project and service requirements
Planning and managing project activities, timelines, and workload for tool development
Leading the design, development, validation, and industrialization of special tools
Ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and delivery requirements
Designing and validating test benches based on system and product needs
Driving cost optimization and localization strategies for tools and test benches
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
