Special Events Associate

● Prepare and demonstrate vendor products and samples ● Interact in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner with customers ● Generate brand awareness and positive product impressions to increase sales ● Assess customers’ needs and interests to best recommend products ● Maintain an accurate inventory of product and sales ● Set up, break down, product preparation and sampling during special events and demonstrations Basic Qualifications ● Valid drivers license ● Must be 18 years or older ● An engaging and welcoming demeanor and customer-centered mind-set are required ● Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment ● Flexible schedule, including weekend availability ● Stand comfortably for up to 6 hours a day ● Sales background is a plus Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ● Highly organized, with the ability to balance multiple tasks, adhere to deadlines and have a strong attention to detail ● Demonstrate strong communication skills ● Ability to provide excellent customer service in a clear, concise manner in person ● Ability to provide quick thinking solution-based problem solving ● Ability to work and think under pressure with a calm presence ● Demonstrated ability to inclusively work with diverse audiences ● Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed ● Ability to build relationships Pay Range and Hours ● Hours: Weekends and potential evenings (typically 4hr shifts) ● Pay: $12/hr for all special event sampling or commission based pay for all Farmers Market sales If this sounds like a great fit for you, send your resume to Emily Halpin at emily@twomenandagarden.com , or contact me at 314.707.7567 for questions or further information.
