Role Overview
The Spa Therapist provides massage services, body treatments, guest consultations, and spa retail service.
The position is full time and non-management at a Marriott property in Doha, Qatar.
Spa Services
- Provide massage services using props and products.
- Provide body scrubs, wraps, hydrotherapy, and other body treatments.
- Assess guest needs and contraindications such as allergies, high blood pressure, and pregnancy.
- Keep current with techniques and modalities in the service area.
- Escort guests and arrange treatment rooms, workstations, and drapes.
- Check guest comfort, safety, and security throughout services.
Operations and Guest Care
- Promote and sell spa, salon, and related retail services.
- Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools and treatment areas.
- Dispose of trash and dirty linens and secure supplies and equipment at shift end.
- Follow the daily schedule and handle inappropriate guest behavior according to company procedures.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions and complete safety training and certifications.
- Provide professional guest communication and maintain positive working relationships.
