Job Description

Operational Management

• Develop and enforce Spa (SOPs) to maintain high-quality service.
• Oversee spa treatments, ensuring they comply with company standards and legislation.
• Assist in payroll duties, attendance tracking, and scheduling staff shifts.
• Manage bookings, payments, and consultation processes to enhance the guest experience.
• Assist the Spa Manager in stock control, including weekly and monthly inventory checks.
• Monitor spa equipment and materials, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
• Handle store-related tasks as required, ensuring seamless coordination with inventory and product management.

Guest Experience & Customer Relations

• Ensure guests receive a high standard of service, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
• Handle customer feedback efficiently, escalating issues where necessary to improve products and services.
• Train and mentor staff to provide an exceptional guest experience.
• Promote spa services and products to enhance sales and client engagement.

Staff Training & Development

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise training for all spa staff, ensuring they are proficient in various treatments.
• Provide product knowledge training and follow-up to ensure staff confidence in promoting spa products.
• Lead by example and foster a positive work environment for staff development.
• Establish and maintain effective employee relations to promote teamwork and efficiency.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with spa security, fire, health, and safety regulations.
• Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards across all spa areas.
• Oversee the proper sanitization of equipment and treatment rooms.

Education & Certifications

• Diploma or certification in massage therapy, body treatments, or beauty therapy from a recognized institute.
• CIDESCO/CIDTAC or equivalent qualification in spa supervision.
• A management course in team leadership and customer service is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in the spa industry.
• Hands-on experience in managing day-to-day spa operations.
• Knowledge of spa treatments, retail sales, and product promotions.
• Proficient in computer operations for booking systems and inventory management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
