Role Overview
The Sous Chef leads daily kitchen operations and helps deliver memorable hospitality experiences for hotel guests.
The role provides hands-on leadership and coaching to kitchen staff focused on outlets or banquets.
Typical Day
- Lead culinary team operations through hands-on leadership and in-the-moment coaching.
- Manage production lists, complete line checks, and expedite service periods.
- Develop and implement seasonal menus, promotional features, and daily specials.
- Build positive relationships between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and scheduling.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
