Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing high quality dishes
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth day to day kitchen operations
- Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP)
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock control
- Minimize food waste and control kitchen costs
- Train, coach, and support junior kitchen staff
- Ensure all food is prepared and served according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in menu development and introduce new ideas when required
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie
- Experience in a hotel, restaurant, or catering environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Culinary qualification or relevant certification is an advantage

Job Overview
