About the Role
Zuma Doha seeks a Sous Chef to maintain high culinary standards, mentor the team, and assist the Head Chef in menu creation. The ideal candidate has experience in luxury high-volume restaurants and a passion for Japanese cuisine.

Responsibilities
- Maintain all mise en place at a sufficient level to ensure an uninterrupted flow of food during the service period whilst controlling the quality, consistency, appearance and taste
- Mentor the team, providing training, guidance, and support to maintain Zuma standards
- Consistently strive for quality of service and consistency in our experience to our guests
- Evaluate guest experiences, implement service improvements, and strive for consistency in delivering exceptional hospitality
- Work alongside the Head Chef to craft and refine creations, incorporating seasonal ingredients and unique culinary concepts
Requirements
- Proven experience as Sous Chef in a luxury high volume restaurant or similar
- A genuine love for culinary experiences & a passion for Japanese cuisine
- A natural team player who is at home working in sync with a large team
- Naturally friendly, customer oriented, and skilled at creating memorable dining experiences
