Position Summary

Preferred Qualification

  • Related Work Experience: 4 to 6 years.
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years.
  • License or Certification: None.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate cooks.
  • Create decorative food displays.
  • Ensure proper portion and garnish.
  • Monitor food quantity.
  • Inform staff of menu specials.
  • Prepare special meals.
  • Assist cooks.
  • Monitor stock.
  • Maintain kitchen logs for food safety.
  • Ensure food quality.
  • Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching.
