Sorter Assistant (FPK)

The wash line sorter is responsible for sorting and placing bales of material onto a conveyor to feed the wash line machines.

The sorter will also assist with the housekeeping in the area as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, the ability to follow instructions, effective communication skills, and the capacity for coordination and control movement.

• Use the right EPP and follow safety procedures.
• Sorting and segregating materials as needed.
• Pushing and handling materials to maintain workflow
• Sweep floors and clean the area to keep it organized and tidy.
• Untangling plastic materials and ensuring smooth operations.
• Drying wet areas to maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Supporting the operation and maintenance of auxiliary equipment

• Strong attention to detail and identify defects optically.
• Manual dexterity.
• Ability to operate press controls.
• Problem-solving.
• Safety-oriented mindset.

• Experience in Production within a manufacturing environment.
• Basic mathematics and calculus.

• Use of hands and fingers for precise movements
• Ability to grab and hold plastic material securely.
• Capability to use both hands simultaneously for different tasks.
