Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdomen, pelvis, obstetric & gynecology, vascular, small parts, and musculoskeletal scans as required.
- Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures and explain the examination process clearly.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
- Ensure patient comfort, privacy, dignity, and safety during procedures.
- Verify patient identity and maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining equipment functionality.
- Follow infection control, radiation safety, and DOH compliance standards.
- Assist physicians and radiologists during ultrasound-guided procedures when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation within RIS/PACS/EMR systems.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with UAE healthcare regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Medical Imaging, or equivalent.
• Valid DOH License
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant clinical experience in Abu Dhabi UAE.
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Pay: AED1,111.00 - AED2,222.00 per month
