Role Description
As a Solutions Engineer/ Business Process Automation Developer, you will be a key driver of efficiency and modernization within the organization. You will design, develop, implement, and maintain automated workflows and custom solutions by leveraging the full potential of platforms like Atlassian Jira and the Microsoft 365 Power Platform (SharePoint Online, Power Automate, Power Apps). This role is focused on creative problem-solving and process engineering, using APIs, scripting, and low-code/no-code solutions to connect disparate systems, reduce manual effort, and improve data-driven decision-making. You will work directly with stakeholders to understand their challenges and build robust, scalable automations that provide tangible mission value.
Design, build, and deploy robust automation solutions using Power Automate to integrate systems and streamline business processes.
Develop custom business applications and user-friendly interfaces with Power Apps to improve data capture and user interaction.
Write, test, and maintain Python, JavaScript and Groovy scripts to perform tasks that are not possible with out-of-the-box automation tools.
Serve as the technical lead for integrating Jira and SharePoint Online, ensuring seamless data flow between platforms.
Collaborate with stakeholders and business analysts to gather requirements, map existing processes ("as-is"), and design optimized automated workflows ("to-be").
Create and maintain clear technical documentation, including solution design documents, process flow diagrams, and user guides for all developed automations.
