Job Summary
The Solutions Consultant is a technical pre-sales role that helps customers understand their environments, receive solution guidance, and realize value from Palo Alto Networks investments.
The role provides technical leadership throughout customer security transformation journeys and supports cybersecurity platform adoption.
Workplace and Travel
- Most teams work from the office full time, with flexibility when needed.
- This is a field sales position and may require travel for in-person customer meetings.
Impact and Responsibilities
- Build strategic technical account plans and support sales-quota attainment with cross-platform solutions.
- Position, demonstrate, and design solutions across the Palo Alto Networks portfolio.
- Conduct discovery, technical presentations, customer-specific demonstrations, workshops, and technical validation engagements.
- Drive customer adoption and help customers improve productivity, operational efficiency, security efficacy, and flexibility.
- Coordinate Professional Services, Customer Success, Specialist, Support, and Channel resources for implementation and adoption.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration and promote end-to-end solutions with partner services.
- Understand competitive positioning and differentiate Palo Alto Networks' cybersecurity offerings.
