Description

AWS is seeking an experienced technologist who combines technical depth with strong interpersonal skills.

The Solutions Architect partners with customers, AWS Sales, and other AWS teams to design scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures.

The role connects technology solutions with measurable business value and supports AWS adoption and revenue growth across customers.

Location and Travel

  • The position is based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
  • The role requires travel between Middle East countries for approximately 25% to 50% of the time.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute sales strategies to exceed revenue objectives through AWS adoption.
  • Support the successful building and migration of applications, software, and services on AWS.
  • Educate customers on AWS value propositions and participate in deep architectural discussions.
  • Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions for customers considering or using AWS.
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge among AWS solutions architects.
  • Author or contribute to customer-facing AWS publications such as whitepapers.
  • Build relationships with senior technical customer stakeholders and enable cloud advocacy.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams, and support.

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of experience in IT development or implementation and consulting in the software or Internet industries.
  • At least 4 years of experience in one or more technology domains, including software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
  • At least 2 years of experience designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a development or operations perspective.
