The role is a senior, client-facing Solutions Architect position within the EMEA EPM practice.
The position leads EPM design and delivery, shapes architectural approaches, directs model-building teams, and serves as the primary technical voice with clients.
The practice delivers solutions across Anaplan, Pigment, and Workiva for asset and wealth management, alternative investments, and insurance clients.
Responsibilities
- Support pre-sales through platform demonstrations and knowledge of accelerator models for Asset Managers, Real Estate, Private Markets, and Workforce Planning.
- Lead discovery, scope projects, document requirements, map processes, assess integrations, and communicate scope risks.
- Design future-state operating models, create specifications and sprint plans, and propose workarounds where needed.
- Capture user stories in JIRA and maintain requirements documentation throughout delivery.
- Present sprint reviews, progress updates, integration reports, and demonstrations to business and technical stakeholders.
- Prioritise changing client requirements and re-plan delivery with the Project Manager.
Experience and qualifications
- University degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Anaplan Solution Architect Certified.
- Five or more years managing Anaplan platforms in internal Finance teams.
- Experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and scoping across complex programmes.
- Experience in Private Markets, Asset Management, or Insurance financial modelling is desired.
Technical skills
- Deep Anaplan knowledge, including advanced concepts, model design best practices, and integration design patterns.
- Strong Excel modelling background and familiarity with broader EPM and finance systems.
- Proficiency with Visio or LucidChart for process mapping.
- Experience with JIRA or equivalent agile project tooling.
- Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
Consulting and personal skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills for business and technology audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, prioritisation, and client relationship skills.
- Ability to manage competing stakeholder expectations and work effectively with vendors and partners.
- Arabic fluency is a bonus.
Work location
- The role is based out of the Middle East office in Abu Dhabi.
