Overview
Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to develop
solution architecture
across airline domains such as
Commercial, Customer, Digital, Cargo, Airport, Engineering, and enterprise platforms
.
Working within assigned value streams, the architect will define
solution intents
aligned with regulatory requirements, architecture standards, business needs, budgets, and IT strategy.
This role plays a key part in the
Agile transformation journey
, delivering
cost-effective, scalable, and high-quality technology solutions
.
Infrastructure engineers not required.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
- Design and own
- end-to-end, holistic solution architecture
- aligned with enterprise standards and best practices
- Create
- solution intent and low-level design artifacts
- (ICDs, ICMs, etc.)
- Define and implement
- architecture patterns, standards, and enablers
- for value streams
- Deliver solution architecture across
- Agile and Waterfall models
- , ensuring innovation, speed, and cost efficiency
- Ensure adherence to
- architecture governance, principles, and Well-Architected Framework
- Collaborate with stakeholders across DTI to align solutions with
- technology roadmaps, business capabilities, and strategy
- Drive
- microservices and SOA-based architecture adoption
- Evaluate and introduce
- new technologies
- to enhance business value and delivery efficiency
- Contribute to improving
- architecture practice maturity
- , standards, and governance
- Support and maintain
- business capability models
- Work closely with business and engineering teams to ensure
- solutions are implemented as designed
