Core Requirements
- GCP Expertise: Deep hands-on experience across the GCP data stack (BigQuery, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer).
- Data Warehousing Mastery: Proficiency in partitioning, clustering, schema design, and query optimisation.
- Engineering Excellence: Strong Python and SQL skills for scripting, automation, and data logic.
- dbt Experience: Proven experience using dbt for scalable SQL transformations.
- DevOps Integration: Practical knowledge of GCP DevOps tools including Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, and Cloud Logging .
Highly Regarded (Desirable)
GCP Networking: Understanding of VPCs, Private Service Connect, Firewall Rules, and Cloud Interconnect.
Security-First Mindset: Experience with IAM, Service Accounts, and Secret Manager under a least-privilege framework.
Migration History: A track record of successful end-to-end remediations (Legacy-to-Cloud or On-prem-to-GCP).
