Solid Waste Collection Inspector

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from high school Experience: Two (2) or more years experience in work involving solid waste collection and public contact Additional Requirements : A valid non-commercial Class C motor vehicle operator's license. NOTE: This is a Safety Sensitive position and employees in this position are subject to Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) and Alcohol testing. NOTE: Longevity pay is available based on years of service.

Other Qualifications

• Preference will be given to applicants who possess the following: 1. Knowledge and/or experience of Waste Management and Recycling Curbside Collection Services. 2. Experience providing superior customer service and maintaining positive customer relations. 3. Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or Google Sheets. 4. Six (6) or more months experience as a lead worker or team leader/supervisor. 5. Proficiency using VUEWorks or other work order system.
