The Site Surveyor is a customer-facing, field-based role responsible for conducting residential site surveys to support the design and installation of solar energy systems. This position plays a critical role in keeping projects moving by collecting accurate measurements, photos, and site information that our design and installation teams depend on.
Site Surveyors spend most of their day traveling within an assigned territory and working on-site at customers' homes, independently managing their schedules to complete multiple time-sensitive appointments each day.
This is an entry-level opportunity, and prior solar surveying experience is not required. SunPower provides training on the surveying process and required equipment. Successful candidates bring strong attention to detail, reliability, time-management skills, and comfort working with ladders and in attic environments.
Occasional travel to other markets for one to two weeks at a time may be required to support business needs.

Occasional out-of-market travel may be required based on business and coverage needs. Trips typically last one to two weeks at a time .
While traveling:
All required travel and lodging expenses are covered by the company
Employees receive a $35/day travel bonus
Employees receive a $50/day per diem
A six-day workweek is required during out-of-market assignments
Employees are guaranteed 40 hours of pay per week , regardless of hours worked during the travel assignment
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and motor vehicle record check.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position requires frequent field travel and may require periods of standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and working in confined or elevated spaces. The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
