Role Description
This is a full-time, Solar Engineer (Kahramaa Approved) position based in Doha, Qatar.
The Solar Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing solar power systems and photovoltaic (PV) installations.
Key responsibilities include conducting site assessments, performing electrical and PV system designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing technical support during installations.
The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Solar Industry, Solar Power systems, and Solar Systems technologies
- Proficiency in PV Design and Electrical Design
- Strong understanding of relevant standards, codes, and industry best practices
- Problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in dynamic, fast-paced environments
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field
- Experience working in the MENA region and familiarity with local standards is a plus
- Professional certifications in renewable energy or solar engineering are advantageous
