Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot solar PV systems at residential, commercial, and industrial sites
- Perform AC side electrical works including DB/SMDB terminations, cable laying, and 3 phase connections
- Install and commission solar inverters (Deye, Huawei, Sungrow, or similar brands)
- Carry out CT installation and configuration for zero export and net metering systems
- Install earthing systems and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, single line diagrams (SLDs), and wiring schematics
- Test and verify electrical connections before system energization
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in solar PV systems
- Coordinate with site engineers and project managers to complete installations on schedule
- Ensure all work complies with UAE electrical regulations and company safety procedures
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition
- Prepare daily work reports and communicate project progress to the supervisor
Requirements
- Experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar PV systems
- Proficiency in AC side electrical works including DB/SMDB terminations, cable laying, and 3 phase connections
- Experience with solar inverters (Deye, Huawei, Sungrow or similar)
- Knowledge of CT installation and configuration for zero export and net metering systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single line diagrams, and wiring schematics
- Familiarity with UAE electrical regulations and safety procedures
- Willingness to travel to project sites across the UAE
