Role Overview
RiskBirbal is seeking a Software Tester Intern for its IT and QA team.
The intern will gain hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
The internship is intended for candidates interested in software testing, quality assurance, and application testing.
Work Arrangement
- Work location is in person at Janakpuri West, New Delhi.
Duration
- The internship duration is six months.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform UI, functional, API, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing under QA team guidance.
- Test web and mobile applications, including EnggiSure, ZippySure, SEO, and WellConnect.
- Perform API testing using Postman and validate third-party integrations.
- Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
- Identify, document, and track defects using Google Documentation.
- Coordinate with developers and product teams on reported issues.
- Assist with fix verification, production testing, post-release testing, QA documentation, and automation testing.
Required Skills and Eligibility
- Basic understanding of software testing and QA concepts.
- Knowledge of manual testing, API testing, web and mobile application testing, test case preparation, defect tracking, and SDLC or STLC.
- B.Tech, B.E., MCA, BCA, or an equivalent qualification.
- Freshers and candidates with relevant academic or project experience are welcome.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn automation testing and new testing tools and technologies.
- Basic knowledge of software testing and QA methodologies is preferred.
Stipend
- The stipend is ₹7,000 per month.
