Software Tester Intern

Role overview

Work location

• The role is based in Janakpuri West, New Delhi, and is performed in person.

Testing responsibilities

• Perform UI, functional, API, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing under QA guidance.
• Test web and mobile applications including EnggiSure, ZippySure, SEO, and WellConnect.
• Perform API testing using Postman and validate third-party integrations.
• Prepare test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Google Documentation.
• Test fixes, verify resolved defects, and perform production and post-release testing.

QA support

• Coordinate with developers and product teams to report and follow up on issues.
• Maintain QA documentation and testing records.
• Assist with automation testing and learn automation testing practices.
• Support application quality, usability, and reliability.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of software testing and QA concepts is required.
• Manual testing, API testing, Postman, web and mobile application testing, test case preparation, and defect tracking are required skills.
• Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC is required.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills are required.

Eligibility

• A B.Tech, B.E., MCA, BCA, or equivalent qualification is required.
• Freshers and candidates with relevant academic or project experience are welcome.
• Basic knowledge of software testing and QA methodologies is preferred.

• The candidate should be willing to learn new testing tools and technologies and communicate issues clearly.
• The candidate should be interested in pursuing a career in software testing or quality assurance.

Compensation

• The stipend is ₹7,000 per month.
