The Opportunity
Join First National Financial's IT Quality Assurance team as a Software Test Engineer II on a one-year contract.
Build robust, scalable test automation solutions on an agile Scrum team and coach junior test engineers.
Role Details
- The role is a one-year contract with working hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- The listed office location is Toronto, Ontario.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks and test cases for functional, API, and regression testing.
- Use and review AI-assisted automation scripts for correctness, maintainability, security, and coding standards.
- Execute tests, assess release readiness, investigate failures, and track defects through resolution.
- Test changes affecting software, business-to-business connections, web services, documents, underwriting systems, and websites.
- Train new test engineers and support implementation of software and product changes.
Requirements
- Technical degree or diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of SDET or similar software testing experience.
