Role Overview
The SSI Lead will establish and lead a centralized, measurable Application Security program for the client.
The role defines Application Security strategy, strengthens DevSecOps maturity, and drives sustainable adoption of secure software development practices.
The role requires leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
Program Leadership Responsibilities
- Develop and continuously improve the centralized Application Security Framework.
- Define and monitor Application Security KPIs and KGIs.
- Maintain Application Security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Design a multi-year DevSecOps maturity roadmap with ownership, priorities, and timelines.
- Design the Application Security Governance Framework and RACI matrix.
- Validate maturity assessments, gaps, duplicated controls, and high-risk areas.
- Establish metrics for maturity, control coverage, and developer adoption.
- Align policies and standards with NCA, OWASP SAMM, and NIST SSDF.
- Develop developer enablement, incentive, recognition, and awareness programs.
- Conduct senior management reviews and provide strategic improvement recommendations.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer to Security and DevOps teams.
