Software Quality Engineer - Level III

The Software Quality Engineer Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.

Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.

Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.

Collaborates with other teams and business partners to help evaluate current best practices in software development quality assurance practices.

Successfully influences test development through technical guidance, configuration and direction setting.

May analyze and resolve problems of medium to high complexity.

Works closely with business and IT stakeholders creating solutions that balance competing interests and concerns.

Responsible for the creation of tests to identify issues with software before the product launch.

Analyze stories/requirements, Create QA artifacts including tests scenarios/cases (test scripts) and reports, identify software problems, analyze bugs and errors found during tests, Convert manual regression scenarios to automated test cases. 5.

Emphasize is on automation and ensure that automated tests are integrated and executed reliably in the CI/CD environments. 6.

Plan and work flexibly to meet the deadlines, Analyze and/or implement corrective action for root cause analysis/fixes or corrective action of defects. 7.

Implement Functional/Integration/Regression and System testing, discuss fixes with developers & Re-test fixed defects, Optimize the testing process and Document the test cases and the results, maintain traceability (QA Documentation) 8.

Work as a member of an Agile SCRUM team delivering high-quality software in two-week sprints 9.
