Role Overview
The Software Quality Engineer II ensures the quality and reliability of software applications.
The position develops and executes automated and manual testing strategies and supports continuous improvement in QA processes.
The role works with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Testing and Automation
- Develop and maintain test strategies, plans and scenarios across multiple environments.
- Execute unit, component, acceptance, integration, API, regression, end-to-end, functional, smoke, load, usability and platform tests.
- Build and manage automated test suites through CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test failures, update scripts and perform exploratory testing.
Quality and Releases
- Review test automation code for consistency, quality and reusability.
- Create detailed defects, validate fixes and update automation as needed.
- Present results and provide sign-off on software functionality for production releases.
- Coordinate development, QA and production releases with release management and cross-functional teams.
