Role Description
Design, develop, test, maintain, and improve high-quality software applications and technology solutions.
Build scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable systems while collaborating with product, engineering, design, data, and other technical teams.
Contribute across requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain reliable software applications and services.
- Translate functional and technical requirements into effective software solutions and maintainable code.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, solution development, and code reviews.
- Develop APIs, backend services, frontend applications, integrations, and automated tests.
- Troubleshoot defects, production issues, performance problems, and technical challenges.
- Optimize performance, scalability, reliability, and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, data specialists, and stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile processes, sprint planning, technical discussions, and project delivery.
- Maintain technical documentation and use version control and modern development workflows.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, deployments, and production operations where required.
- Evaluate technologies and identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing where applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, programming concepts, algorithms, data structures, and system design.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, C++, Go, or similar.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies.
- Familiarity with databases, SQL, APIs, distributed systems, Git, testing frameworks, debugging, and software quality practices.
- Knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps practices, or infrastructure automation is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or other modern software development methodologies.
- Relevant software development, cloud, architecture, or technology certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
