Part-time remote Software Engineer role supporting the digital and technical needs of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Jordan.

The role focuses on back-end web applications and services that improve access to academic and administrative information.

Design, develop, and maintain back-end web applications and services.
Write clean, maintainable code and implement object-oriented designs.
Debug and optimize existing systems.
Translate faculty and staff requirements into technical solutions.
Integrate data sources and ensure system reliability and security.
Document technical work and contribute to continuous improvement of online platforms.

Solid foundation in computer science concepts, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
Proficiency in programming and object-oriented programming with at least one modern programming language.
Hands-on back-end web development experience with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
Experience with requirements analysis, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
