Software Engineering Technical Lead

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

8+ years of professional software development experience, including hands-on full stack development and technical leadership responsibilities.

Strong expertise in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices or service-oriented architecture, and enterprise application development.

Hands-on experience with Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and building modular, component-based front-end applications.

Strong experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle, including database design, SQL queries, performance-aware data access, T-SQL or stored procedures.

Proficient in object-oriented design and development using SOLID principles, design patterns, reusable components, and maintainable architecture.

Experience with CI/CD, Azure DevOps or similar tools, Git or equivalent version control, and modern build/deployment practices.

Quality and test-first development mindset with experience in unit testing, automated testing, code coverage, peer reviews, and secure engineering practices.

Successful track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and thoroughly tested software in Agile/Scrum environments.

Ability to define technical standards, influence peers, mentor engineers, and provide technical direction without relying only on authority.

Familiarity with AI-enabled software development practices, including effective prompting, code generation, test generation, debugging assistance, documentation support, and responsible validation of LLM-generated output.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical challenges and solutions to stakeholders and peers.

Experience or understanding of cloud computing technologies, SaaS platforms, distributed systems, and modern API-driven application design.

Experience with performance, scalability, reliability, and security considerations for enterprise-grade applications.

Proactive, creative, and innovative approach to solving complex technical problems.

Continuous improvement mindset with a commitment to developing new skills, including AI-enabled engineering practices.

Ability to work collaboratively in a global team environment and set a positive technical culture within the local team.

Experience across multiple technology stacks is an added advantage.
