Software Engineering Team Leader (Engineering Manager) -Datalayer, Pune

Description & Requirements

• Deep understanding of C++ and practical experience using modern language features.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Strong design judgment, particularly in building robust, reusable libraries and infrastructure.
• Hands-on engineering experience, with the ability to guide technical direction through direct contribution.
• Proven experience collaborating with Product and other engineering teams.
• Proven experience leading an engineering team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A strong sense of ownership.
• Experience using AI tools for development, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working on complex infrastructure systems under continuous use.
• Experience with performance optimization and a passion for writing performance-critical code.
• Experience designing, developing, and operating large-scale service-oriented systems.
• Understanding of writing multi-threaded code.
• Some experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Exposure to multiple phases of the software development life cycle.
