Coveo is seeking a Development Manager to lead two or more software development teams within the Explore organization, delivering AI-powered search and recommendation capabilities.

Responsibilities
- Lead two or more software development teams working on strategic initiatives within the Explore organization
- Adapt leadership style to the maturity, autonomy, and needs of each team while fostering ownership and accountability
- Partner closely with Product Management, Applied Science, and Engineering leaders to deliver AI powered capabilities
- Provide technical leadership through architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews
- Coach and develop engineers, supporting their career growth while building a healthy engineering culture
- Help shape the evolution of the R&D organization by contributing to cross team collaboration, planning, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Development Manager leading two or more distinct software development teams
- Strong software engineering background with ability to understand, review, and discuss production code
- Experience building Software as a Service (SaaS) products
- Demonstrated ability to delegate effectively and adapt leadership approach to teams with different levels of maturity

- As a Development Manager, you'll play a key role in Coveo's newly organized Product Engineering structure, helping the Explore organization deliver the next generation of AI powered search and recommendation capabilities.

As one of our Development Managers, you will:
- Lead two or more software development teams working on strategic initiatives within our Explore organization.
- Adapt your leadership style to the maturity, autonomy, and needs of each team while fostering ownership and accountability.
- Partner closely with Product Management, Applied Science, and Engineering leaders to deliver impactful AI powered capabilities.

Here is what will qualify you for the role:
- Previous experience as a Development Manager leading two or more distinct software development teams.
- Strong software engineering background with the ability to understand, review, and discuss production code.
- Experience building Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
- Demonstrated ability to delegate effectively and adapt your leadership approach to teams with different levels of maturity.
