The Role
The Engineering Intern will build AI-powered tools and automations that improve how teams across NymCard work.
The role focuses on simplifying workflows, connecting systems, and improving access to information and insights.
Work may include internal applications, dashboards, AI agents, knowledge systems, and workflow automations.
This is a hands-on role involving rapid experimentation, shipping, and direct use of solutions by internal teams.
What You Will Do
- Design and build internal tools, applications, dashboards, AI agents, and automations.
- Connect systems and data sources to eliminate manual and repetitive work.
- Prototype and experiment with AI models, agent frameworks, and LLM tooling.
- Build knowledge systems that make information easier to find and act on.
- Scope, ship, and iterate quickly with the team.
What We Are Looking For
- Student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Comfort with modern web development, APIs, databases, and Git.
- Strong interest in LLMs, AI agents, and automation.
- Personal projects, prototypes, or independent builds demonstrating the ability to ship independently.
- Curious and resourceful approach with comfort working with minimal hand-holding.
