Software Engineering Intern, Backend (Summer 2027)

We build and scale the services, infrastructure, and data systems behind brokerage, crypto, payments, and more. We move fast, hold high standards, and solve problems that actually matter — at a scale that very few engineers ever get the chance to touch.

As a Software Engineering Intern, Backend, you won't be on the sidelines — you'll own a meaningful project end-to-end, from initial scoping through to production. You'll be embedded on a real team, working directly with experienced engineers, diving deep into how the US financial system actually operates, and shipping software that meets the correctness and scale requirements of a live financial platform. This is a summer where you'll leave with real impact to show for it!

This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA, Bellevue, WA, or New York, NY office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.
