Position Overview
Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Support Engineer with 1–3 years of hands-on application production support and monitoring experience.
The role supports the stability, availability, and performance of business-critical applications through proactive monitoring, issue identification, and daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Triage technical and functional issues with a team of engineers and analysts.
- Perform ticket triage, monitor queues, and debug production issues using Java and Spring Boot.
- Use Dynatrace and Splunk for monitoring and issue investigation.
- Conduct planned and ad hoc regression checkouts.
- Create, coordinate, and track stories required to resolve tickets.
- Monitor jobs, respond to job issues, and conduct release checkout proof-of-concepts.
- Perform ad hoc data research.
- Provide on-call support, including night shifts and rotating weekend coverage, with weekday compensatory leave.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of application development or production support experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical area or equivalent work experience.
- Basic knowledge of TypeScript, Java, MongoDB, or another listed technology, plus the ability to understand complex architectures.
