Role overview
Develop algorithms and software supporting synthetic aperture radar, low observables, electro-optical, and other remote sensing capabilities.
Work with experts in remote sensing and space emerging technology while developing software engineering expertise.
Responsibilities
- Convert algorithm definitions and prototypes into robust software applications.
- Collaborate with radar, electro-optical, and research scientist experts to improve product image quality.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code using modern programming languages and coding standards.
- Participate across the development lifecycle, including planning, requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Learn synthetic aperture radar or electro-optical collection techniques.
Required qualifications
- Active TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance.
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or a related field; four years of relevant professional experience or qualifying military background may substitute.
- At least two years of software development experience.
