Position Overview
The Infrastructure Systems Engineering team is building next-generation private cloud infrastructure through a greenfield initiative.
The infrastructure supports large-scale database testing, including more than 7.25 million tests per month and petabytes of daily storage writes.
The engineer will design, implement, and continuously improve lower-level systems.
Role and Responsibilities
- Design and develop major infrastructure components and systems focused on fault tolerance and performance.
- Own systems end to end from design through production.
- Work closely with other teams to integrate and operate infrastructure systems.
- Drive continuous improvement in system reliability and usability.
- Use data or code to support fact-driven decision-making.
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 5 years of experience developing and optimizing systems software.
- Deep expertise in at least one of virtualization, storage, service modeling and REST API or SDK generation, scientific or high-performance computing, or kernel development.
- Experience designing, developing, or troubleshooting distributed systems.
